Software and AI for property appraisers
Datawonder builds software and AI for property appraisers: inspection notes written up into report text, property data and sources brought together in one file, and scheduling and reporting back to clients that happen by themselves. The valuation stays with the appraiser. AI takes over the writing and the looking up.
Every file means recording, writing up, and describing the same components again. That repetitive work takes time that does not go into the judgement itself. For land valuations Datawonder has built an application as its own work that shows how this can be done differently.

Questions and answers
What can AI do for a property appraiser?
Datawonder uses AI for the writing and looking up around an appraisal: writing up inspection notes into report text, gathering property data and sources in one file and automating scheduling and reporting back to clients. The appraiser reviews the draft and determines the value. AI does not take over that judgement.
Can AI write up my appraisal report?
AI can produce a first draft of the sections that come back in every report, based on your inspection, your notes and the property data. You read that draft, correct what is wrong and sign. Datawonder builds it so that you see which source a passage comes from, so you can check quickly.
Is there software that supports land valuations?
Yes. As its own work, Datawonder has built a land valuation application that brings property data and sources together and produces a draft the appraiser only has to review. The application was not commissioned. It shows what is possible and is a starting point if you need something similar.
Can AI gather property data and sources for an appraisal?
Yes, from the sources you now consult by hand, as far as they can be retrieved digitally. Datawonder brings that data together in one file per property, so you do not have to search separate systems. Which sources can be connected depends on what they offer: with a properly documented API it is almost always possible.
Does AI determine the value of a property?
No. In the software Datawonder builds for appraisers, the appraiser determines the value. AI gathers data, writes up texts and prepares the file. The valuation and the responsibility for it stay with the appraiser.
Can scheduling with clients be automated?
Yes. Datawonder can automate scheduling inspections and reporting back to clients, so confirmations, reminders and status updates go out by themselves. A voice agent can also put appointments in your calendar by phone. You keep time for the work on site and for the judgement.
What about privacy in appraisal files?
Appraisal files often contain personal data of owners and clients, so the GDPR applies. Datawonder records up front which data the system may see, where it is processed, how long it is kept and which data processing agreements are needed. Where possible, personal data stays out of the AI.
How do I get started with AI in my appraisal practice?
With the part that comes back in every file and takes the most time. In a free thirty-minute intro call Datawonder looks at where that is. After that you get a quote with a fixed price, per phase or for the whole project, so you can start small and only expand once it works.
