Can Datawonder build a webshop?

Yes. Datawonder builds custom webshops and connects them to the systems you already use. A webshop for a fruit grower is currently in development. If you already have a webshop, Datawonder can also connect and automate it without you having to start over.

How do I connect my webshop to my bookkeeping?

Through the APIs of your webshop and your accounting package. Datawonder builds an integration that automatically turns every order into an invoice or entry in your bookkeeping, so nobody retypes orders any more. That works with any package that has a properly documented API, even if your webshop was not built by Datawonder.

Can I automate orders, stock and shipping?

Yes. Datawonder connects your webshop to your stock and your shipping, so an order updates the stock, prepares a shipping label and the customer automatically gets a message. Exactly which steps can be automated depends on the systems you use and whether they have an API.

Can AI answer customer questions for my webshop?

Yes. Datawonder builds AI assistants that answer customers' questions from your own product information, delivery terms and returns policy. A voice agent can do the same on the phone. If the voice agent cannot handle a question, it hands over with a summary of what was already said.

Can customers assemble their own product in my webshop?

Yes, with a product configurator. As its own work, Datawonder has built a configurator that lets customers assemble their own product, with the result immediately a correct order. For your webshop such a configurator is tailored to your own products and rules.

Does my webshop have to be accessible?

Often, yes. Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act has applied, and it also sets requirements for webshops that sell to consumers. Microenterprises that provide services are exempt. Datawonder uses the applicability scan to work out whether the requirements apply to your webshop and what has to happen next.

Which laws apply to my webshop?

In any case the GDPR applies to customer data, along with the rules on cookies and tracking in the Dutch Telecommunications Act. Depending on your webshop, the European Accessibility Act can apply as well and, if you also offer products from other sellers, the Digital Services Act. Datawonder uses the applicability scan to work out which European and Dutch laws genuinely touch your webshop.

Can I have my webshop penetration tested?

Yes. In a penetration test Datawonder examines your webshop, the integrations and, if you wish, the source code the way an attacker would. A webshop holds customer data and orders, so a leak has direct consequences. You get a report with evidence per finding and criteria for retesting after the fix.
